A boarhound is a animal mob found outside the Puzzle Palace, in the Mountains of Mist.

"A boarhound sniffs the air, waiting to charge.
With six-foot tusks curved either side of its wet snout, little escapes the snare of the boarhound once it sniffs its prey. Large canine incisors glint in the shine of any light, and the saliva frothing out of its mouth hints at the total and absolute insanity of this creation of the armies of the dark. Sometimes it will sniff the air, in search of it's next food."
