An obscured woman is a spirit-type smob found in the Black Hills.
Description[]
"An obscured form gestures at the flickering shadows.
Gesturing intricately at the flickering lights, partially obscured, a small woman resides within the shadows. Pale skin contrasts with deep blue eyes and red lips. Her eyes are calculating, studying you intently as she grins with mouth pursed into a half-grin and sneer. Long black hair frames her serene face, yet an aura of grandeur is apparent in the devious air that floats about her. Very peculiar is the way she leaves no trace of a shadow herself."

Black Hills | The Treasure Room | 1 |
Doors: roots, stonedoor, greatdoor
The obscured woman loads in the Black Hills southwest of Tar Valon. She can be approached by heading west from Tar Valon and south past the Dragonmount, or by passing through the "briars" west of the Caemlyn-Tar Valon road. She is located in a small cave system through the "rift" at "Bend in the Stream". Her final room is "The Treasure Room". Adventurers will also need to open the "stonedoor" and the "greatdoor".
Strategies[]
The obscured woman loads with 6 thin wisp of silvery black smoke minions. These are spirit mobs and will require honing or hardening of weapons. Two additional wisp minions load outside the greatdoor. A gray man is present within the tunnel and should be killed before attempting the smob, as he may attempt to backstab you. The wisp minions are aggressive towards horses and will kill them.
There are a variety of strategies to killing the smob. She takes emote damage via mobol whenever a wisp is killed; if all the wisp minions are killed, the obscured woman will die regardless of her health. Two or more channelers can easily kill the obscured woman by using a traditional flee-weaving strategy with a long weave such as Ice Spikes, with care taken to avoid the mob aggro timer.
The obscured woman is the final smob in one of the herald chains for Andor (i.e., Bryn Plambo, the gholam, and an obscured woman).
