If someone wishes to apply for training under and eventual membership with the Gleemen, the may add the {Gleeplicant} tag to their title and insure that the following requirements are met:

1. Must be level 20 and unable to wield the One Power. (Class checks are done to enforce this)

2. Must be free o' warrants from Light-faring nations. (Allowances may be made so long as warrants are cleared by the time o' clanning, but the applicant must take care o' this o' their own volition, and discretion to accept an applicant as an apprentice with outstanding warrants is the right o' the Council alone.)

3. Must mail the Glee Council an IC letter telling us about him/herself and what has caused them to pursue life as a Gleeman.

4. Once contacted by a Gleeman, perform for one or more o' us a show consisting o' at least 3 individual and original 'acts' (ie. story, song, poem, joke, juggling, acrobatics, etc.), a log o' which will be taken for consideration. (An applicant should make sure either s/he or the Gleeman present is logging.) It's recommended they play to their RP and strengths, as this is to let us get a good impression o' their style and talent.

Once these requirements are met, the candidate will be presented to the clan. If a Rank 4+ under approval from a member o' the Council, or a member o' the Council alone, wishes to take the applicant on as an apprentice, arrangements may be made to allow this. It should be noted that the more Gleemen the applicant meets and makes an impression on, the better their chances will be to become an apprentice.
