Orma is a human smob found off the Arinelle River north of the town of Whitebridge.
Description[]
"A supple yet tough-looking lady regards you seductively.
This woman seems to combine a rugged adventurer and a sleazy tramp all rolled into one individual. 'Come closer, my darling' she says, but you see the glint of steel in her right hand."
Keywords: orma, smob, ?
Location[]
| Zone | Room | Qty. | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Whitebridge | The Bulwark of the River Bitch | 1 | Wanders a 4-room area on the River Bitch |
Doors: ladderhatch, plank; or crates
Orma is technically located within the zone of Whitebridge. Orma roams the River Bitch, a set of rooms representing a river pirate ship docked just north of the city. The most popular entrance is just south of the cavern entrance for the Whitebridge Fade, and using this route will not require canoe or raft to board. Alternatively, you can cut through the abandoned tunnels just east of Whitebridge, or through the western side of Braem Wood near "secret".
Strategy[]
Orma wanders a 4-room area of the zone that makes up her ship, the River Bitch. Although there are about 8 pirates and 8 swashbucklers in the area, all of whom assist her, none of the mobs actually follow or group on Orma, so faceoff does not apply. She wanders randomly but does not chase, so how easy she is to kill can be a matter of luck; sometimes she might have 5 or more pirates in the room, and other times she will be in a room by herself. Regardless, clearing the individual pirate minions in the area will ensure that no more minions wander into her room to defend her while you are fighting her.
The entire 4-room area is hideable, so Backstab is a common tactic to defeating Orma. Due to her relatively high level, a solo channeler is unlikely to have enough SPs and weave damage to outpace her rate of healing, but two or more channelers should be able to target and defeat her using a flee-weave strategy. A traditional smob group is also a common approach and very effective, especially if Orma has multiple pirate mobs in her room.

Trivia[]
Orma was introduced on 5/27/17 as part of the ToL post "Swigs and Booty". This human quest focused on battling bandits at Ragnor, Roland, the Iron Fist Valley (with the appearance of the Bandit Warlord), and on the River Bitch. The supplies recovered by Dragonsworn players ultimately resulted in the crafting of clan trinkets for their clan.
