Overchannel is a command used by channelers to access more of the True Source than they are normally able to. This is very dangerous as it runs the risk of stilling your character, forever burning the ability to channel from him or her.

In Game WarningEdit

Please be careful using the command "ov", "ove", "over" etc.
They're short for the command "overchannel". This gives you a temporary increase in spellpoints.
But it may also lead to you being stilled. Unable to channel, ever again.
Even the Creator (immortals) will not help you, should that happen.

In Game DescriptionEdit

If you channel something that requires more mana than you currently have,
you run the risk of overchanneling. This has dire effects, the most prominent
is the immediate stilling of the person channeling.

Examples of overchannel causing stillingEdit
