Parry refers to an equipment setup that seeks to maximize a character's Parry bonus (PB) and, to a lesser extent, Dodge bonus (DB), in order to maximize their Defense so as to avoid being hit.
While not a widely-used equipment choice, due to its lower dodge bonus, a top parry setup can nevertheless make a character nearly unhittable in a 1 vs 1 fight.
