How to figure height/weight?[]
Well, he is taller than you, heavier than you, and in general less stocky than you. Are you mad!?
Your height is 5 feet, 8 inches, and you weigh 169.0 lbs. Base BMI:36 You are carrying 0.0 lbs and wearing 74.4 lbs, fairly light. Total BMI:52
- The best way of course is to luck up and happen to have height and weight equal to the mob being conned, in which case it will say "he is as tall as you, as heavy as you..." or something along those lines. Lacking that, you can at least generate an upper or lower bound, in this we know he is >68 inches tall, and >169.0 lbs.
- If we want to go further, BMI can sometimes be used to narrow down the range. For a good example, check out the link to my post on wotmudarchives dealing with bmi, and how I was able to determine the height/weight of a number of horses that are much taller/heavier than any character. This will not always work, since there is a limit to how much a character can alter their bmi, but it is often useful.
