What is a good geographical/popular name for this zone? Dalfoor's Manor? Medakan (talk) 19:26, December 22, 2016 (UTC)
- Good question. Both this and Open Countryside I are in Southeastern Andor. This zone is south of Aringill, while the other is east of Kintara, and both are SE of Caemlyn. Of course, we could also just modify them to "Open Countryside East" for this and "Open Countryside West" for the other. Or "South of Aringill" for this, Andor Manor/Estate, Dalfoor's Manor/Estate, Dalfoor Zone, etc.
- I never really understood the purpose of these two zones, other than a few trees in the other and some low-lvl exp mobs before saplings came along. I'm really not sure about a good name, since I'm sure there are numerous other things it could be called. People probably know it most due to Dalfoor and his manor, so something to do with that is probably a top contender. Russ3Z (talk) 19:40, December 22, 2016 (UTC)
I am sad that the zone creator couldn't come up with a less generic zone name. I am going to go with Dalfoor's Manor for OC2 and Kintara Countryside for OC1 for now. This way I can change zone name on my map and the links will show same name as zone connections. We can change later if anyone has better ideas. Medakan (talk) 20:13, December 22, 2016 (UTC)
- I wonder about that "Kintara Countryside" one, though. Could that confuse people who are used to the Hills of Kintara zone and Kintara village already? - Well if we're doing that, I might think that even "Andoran Countryside East" and "Andoran Countryside West" would be fairly descriptive, since there are no other zones like those names in andor, and it's more exact than just "open countryside" which could be anywhere.
- But I'll put it this way: since you're doing the bulk of the work with the maps for that, I'll let you decide, even Kintara Countryside if you want. People will get used to whatever names we use, eventually, anyway, so have at it.
