The Lizard King is a humanoid smob found in a cave in the Foothills Bordering the Spine.
Description[]
"The King of the Lizards stands here, with a crazed look in his eyes.
A tall, broad-shouldered man stands here, deluding himself with visions of grandeur and self-importance. Madness lurks behind his eyes. He glares about arrogantly, darting his wild gaze in every direction. A worn crown of beaten metal rests upon his brow, and he stands straight and tall as he pronounces, "I am the Lizard King!""

Location[]
Zone | Room | Qty. | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Foothills Bordering the Spine | Throne Room | 1 |
Doors: cavewall/cavedoor; or stonedoor, strangehill
The second entrance (stonedoor, strangehill) is harder to enter due to requiring higher Search, but it is a shorter path to the smob.
Strategies[]
The Lizard King loads with 5 strange lizards. He yells when his room is entered on a percent chance. The minions will assist the smob and also rescue him from combat. The room is not hideable, so Backstab is not a viable tactic here. There is mobol coding that makes Blind trigger emote damage, interrupting weaving, although that same coding might also apply to all weaving in the room.Verify? Freeze will prevent the minions from assisting or rescuing, allowing you to isolate the smob. Two channelers may be able to target him selectively to kill him using a flee-weave strategy, but due to the emote damage, this may be complicated or require luck to pull off. A traditional smob group is viable and likely a more effective strategy.
