The Lord Meneril is a human smob loading on the Cairhien Road, to the north of Maerone.

"The High Lord Meneril stands here swirling a glass of wine.
Whilst surveying his country estate, Lord Meneril muses on his next ploy in the Game of Houses, Daes Dae'mar. His gentle, kindly appearance, complete with pleasant smile and generous face, hides a cold, calculating man that excels in the great game. Few dare cross his Lordship, as those that have done so are rarely been seen again."

He and his six mistresses occupy the upstairs room of the manor house northeast of Maerone, through the frontdoor or backdoor and above the stairdoor. None of the mobs chase or wander from their room, which is nohide and has code preventing Ice Spikes from doing any damage.
The smob is initially neutral to humans, but will become aggressive if a player accuses him by saying "I accuse you of plotting against the King."
His mistresses will respond with emote damage to bash and possibly engagement. If a single player is buffing multiple mistresses, the player will suffer damage from every mistress, which can quickly do hundreds of points of damage.
Meneril's key unlocks the glassdoor to the north of the smob, leading to a room with a box containing more treasure.
Lord Meneril is the final part of one of the Cairhien Herald Quest chains.
