Strategies[]
The half-beast will attempt, during combat, to throw players off the ledge into a room below. Players must find and hold a length of rope to be able to leave the gorge safely after being thrown over. If they do not they will fall into a Deathtrap.
If you want to beat the beast find a rope and hold it prior to starting to fight. When the half-beast growls flee, and wait to re-enter the room and re-engage until the timer for the emote to throw has passed.
If the beast throws you over the edge without a rope you can still survive. There are two strategies here. One, someone with two ropes can intentionally get themselves thrown over the bridge to give you a spare rope. The other option is to have them go to the "Edge of the Cliff" (s alle alln from beast). A rope loads in this room. Have them pick up, then drop the rope in the room. The emote "A length of rope drops off the cliff." indicated the rope is now 1d from that room. The person can them stack commands to enter the room, get the rope and and climb up out of the gorge.
The half-beast growls fiercely. The half-beast roars mightily and lifts both arms high over his head. A half-beast grabs you by the waist and hurls you from the bridge!!!! You land awkwardly on a small ledge overlooking a huge drop!
