This change was at least a decade in the making. ;)
As of now, level 3 human hunters, rogues and warriors can use the following command: tell guardian prerolledstats
The syntax is very particular, please only use this command in this manner, or it will not work. Upon request, the Guardian will then assign a set of basic, playable, stats according to class. These stats are the same for any character of the same class - it is not a roll, so using the command more than once will be pointless.
The command should work in any room in the game and is only available at level 3. However if a newbie happened to level higher, they can delevel and still go for the prerolled stats once they go down to level 3.
This change is aimed at making it easier for newbies to start playing the game. No matter what stats they get at level 3, they can opt for a basic set and -start playing-. We have excluded channelers from this feature because they are such a powerful class and there is a worry that making it too easy to create a basic female channeler would result in this feature being used for creating throwaway murderers.
Changes will be made to the newbie tips in CoL, the Eye and various other mobs as well to let players know of this command.
If anything appears to be abusable, please please please let us know. It would be horrible if we had to remove it if this feature was abused.
Many thanks to Flash for making the coding change that made this possible and also a special thanks to every player out there who once made this suggestion. We heard you. ;)
