Courtesy of the Watchers and staff, we unveil the following.....
The Ahf'frait - This new trolloc clan will serve the purpose of announcing the arrival of the fades into battle. When they show up, the Great Lord's generals are right behind. Their master Boghag has whipped his horde into elite fighting condition and is looking to do the same for the deserving few.
The Civil Watch - The streets of Tanchico are rough and merciless. In a thankless job, these troops shoulder the responsibility of trying to keep the citizens of the city safe. They answer to the Panarch of Tarabon.
The Sword and Hand - Nestled between Tarabon and Saldaea, the nation of Arad Doman calls up its elite forces to help defend its nation against foriegn enemies.
The Valon Guard - Given the task of protecting the island and city of Tar Valon outside of the White Tower, this unit secures streets, alleys, brdges, all working parts of the city.
We hope these clans provide an exciting experience as the RP world expands. Those wanting to be part of this new and exciting time should wait for the appropriate announcements before pursuing entrance.
This will obviously close the sanctioned player run clan of the Tar Valon cityguard. Due to the short time in between the announcement of player run clans and the implementation, all players looking to join will be on a level playing field. Even including those who tried to get the cityguard kick started.
Those who claimed to be part of any of these clans will start the same as anyone else. These clans were started for reasons independant of any player intiative.
Other items with this release were the renaming of the Borderguard to the Shienaran Lancer and dropping the regional Cairhien from the Rising Sun.
While this was the substantial contribution from the Watchers, it may not be all to come this summer. Be on the lookout for other exciting changes.
