After careful deliberation and discussion, the staff was convinced by the actions and behavior of the players, that we may now remove the hard and fast rules that have been bound to warrant rules for the past couple of months.
Instead now, the rules should be used as a guideline when considering if a warrant is appropriate or not. But people should not have to worry any longer about all the intracacies and interpretations of the rules. They should just realize that if they place a bad/wrong/incorrect warrant on someone, that they may have to answer to their clan and clan head for doing so.
The only things that will remain from this are two points...
1) There should be no blanket/reciprocal warrants.
2) Warrants should only be placed for crimes committed against the clan or in clan jurisdication.
For those who are affected by warrants, you need to take you case to the clan council/ombudsman/master if you truely believe your warrant is unfair. The past couple of months have shown that clans are ready and prepared to take care of wrongdoing and to reprimand those who did the wrong if need be.
All we ask is that you use common sense. The need for endless scenarios and questions is no longer with these rules not being hard and fast. And that clans remain serious about correcting possible mistakes of clanmates and taking the appropriate action if a mistake is made.
This lies in your hands now guys. We appreciate the effort and discussion you guys put into this. And hopefully we never get back to the point we were at before the rules had to be put into place.
