When you look at your stats, some of you will see that you have altqps, and have been receiving them from time to time. These measure how "dark" you are, and when you have 1500, then you'll be ready to be quested to make Dreadlord.
Staff, Maddoc (the DF imm) and Chosen can all give or deduct them: the former will be on a case-by-case basis, and the latter is up to you, depending on how much you manage to impress the Chosen. Some guidelines for this:
- THIS IS IN IN-GAME CHALLENGE! ONLY USE IN-GAME METHODS TO CONTACT THE CHOSEN. ICQ/MSN/EMAIL/FORUM MAIL *YA BOO HISS* ARE CHEAP WAYS OF GOING ABOUT THIS AND ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE, REGARDLESS OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES! YOU WILL BE DOCKED ALTQPS FOR DOING SO!!! CAN I POSSIBLY BE ANY CLEARER?!?!
- Don't use things like clan issues to impress them, they're not really "achievements". Ie a wannabe FC issuing a few angreal and bringing them to the Chosen won't do.
- Don't use scalps to impress the Chosen, they won't count.
- Stay secret. It is harder for a known DF than an unknown DF to make Dreadlord.
Above all, and this was the most important reason for posting, NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER POST LOGS REVEALING THAT YOU HAVE ALTQPS IE SHOWING YOUR STATS. CAN I POSSIBLY BE ANY CLEARER?!?! If you do, the consequences will be on your own head - they're completely your own fault!
