I apologise for the delay in posting this, but there were some technical matters that have delayed this somewhat.

We unfortunately had to crack down on the LAN policy for a little while, as some issues were unclear and we had a string of abuse.

I'm pleased to say that we are rolling this back slightly - with the following clarifications. Please note, if you are a LAN player, or are expecting to use anything of that kind, the onus is on you to inform one of the relevant immortals and receive an acknowledge of this. (see below)

Players may once again play from a LAN so long as they obey the following rules;

  • All players logged on from a LAN must be on the same race at all times.
  • 5 minutes must elapse between characters being logged on from a LAN on the same race.
  • The 30 min cross-race changeover time begins when the last person rents. The onus is on the players using the LAN to time themselves accordingly.
  • No other characters may be logged on from a LAN if an immortal of any level is logged on from that IP.
  • Players who are going to be playing from a LAN should contact one of the appropriate immortals (currently Dyvim or Tlaloc) via forum mail and wait for an acknowledgement that their characters have been noted accordingly before playing in order to minimise any confusion.

Those mailing - please read this. Please only mail one of the two contact immortals - Tlaloc or Dyvim. Both are very active, and neither need to have to be doubling over each other's work.

Soon, there will be an alternative method to contact the people who need to make the relevant notes on your character. I will update this post when that is the case.

Also, to save questions, yes, you will want a note on each of your alts that will be played on a LAN. No, you don't need to mail before each time you play on a LAN, just the once to let us know that yes, you play on a LAN is fine.
