The Weapons Guild (Chains) is a weaponsmithing guild used to transform iron bars and wooden poles into chains.

Joining

"I wish to join your guild."

A grand master says 'Very well. For a fee of 150 gold crowns you may become an apprentice of the chain smith guild.'

say which items chains You say 'which items chains' A weaponsmith says 'You do need a few items to make a chain, yes.' A weaponsmith says 'You will need a bar of iron, a hammer and a wooden pole.' A weaponsmith says 'Show the handle to me so I can check the quality.' A weaponsmith says 'When you have everything start with smelting the iron.' A weaponsmith says 'When the iron is liquid, pour it into the moulds and let it cool down.' A weaponsmith says 'Once it is solid, cut the pole in two and attach a chain to the metalcaps.' A weaponsmith says 'Once you are ready for your master piece I will ask for payment forusing my forge in the form of a letter of rights.' show pole weaponsmith You show a smooth wooden pole to a weaponsmith. A weaponsmith says 'Ah good, good.' A weaponsmith says 'Go ahead, and start smithing.' smelt the iron Ok. You drop a bar of iron. You place the iron in a smelting cup and place it in the oven. The iron has become an orange liquid. Using a pair of tongs you take a smelting cup out of the oven. You carefully pour the liquid iron into a mould. Red hot drops hiss as they are spilt onto the ground. You leave the iron to set. You can now attach the ball to the handle. attach ball handle Ok. You grab the handle and slide a cap over it. You grab some rivets and a hammer, and clop the cap into place. You attach a ball and metal chain to the metal caps. You grab a file and carefully remove the sharp heads from the rivets. You put a chain in a barrel to wash the wire edges off. You get a chain from a barrel and prop it up against the wall. A weaponsmith says 'You can drop a letter of rights on that stool there, and I will give youthe weapon.' Drop slim You drop a slim roll of paper. A strong smith says 'Excellent job, Alayla. Well done!' A weaponsmith points to the wall and says 'There it is.' get chain You get a bronze chain scourge.
