The Weapons Guild (Heavy Axes) is a weaponsmithing guild used to transform iron bars and wooden poles into heavy axes.

Joining

"I wish to join your guild."

A grand master says 'Very well. For a fee of 150 gold crowns you may become an apprentice of the heavy axe smith guild.'

show pole smith You show a smooth wooden pole to a strong smith. A strong smith says 'Ah good, good.' A strong smith says 'Go ahead, and start smithing.' smelt iron Ok. You drop a bar of iron. You place the iron in a smelting cup and place it in the oven. The iron has become an orange liquid. Using a pair of tongs you take a smelting cup out of the oven. You carefully pour the liquid iron into a mould. Red hot drops hiss as they are spilt onto the ground. You leave the iron to set. The iron has set. You can now put the blade onto the handle. put blade handle Ok. You drop a smooth wooden pole. You grab the handle and slide the blade onto it. You hammer a wedge between the top end of the blade and the handle. A dull hammering sound rings in the smithy. You put the axe in the barrel to let the wedge drive the blade onto the handle. You get an axe from a barrel and prop it up against the wall. A strong smith says 'You can drop a letter of rights on that stool there, and I will give you the weapon.' drop slim You drop a slim roll of paper. A strong smith says 'Excellent job, <Name>. Well done!' get axe You get a bronze headed war axe.
