The Weapons Guild (Polearms) is a weaponsmithing guild used to transform iron bars and wooden poles into polearms.

Joining

A grand master says 'Very well. For a fee of 150 gold crowns you may become an apprentice of the polearm smith guild.'

say which items polearms You say 'which items polearms' A weaponsmith says 'You do need a few items to make a polearm, yes.' A weaponsmith says 'You will need a bar of iron, a hammer and a wooden handle.' A weaponsmith says 'Show the handle to me so I can check the quality.' A weaponsmith says 'When you have everything start with smelting the iron.' A weaponsmith says 'When the iron is liquid, pour it into the mould and let it cool down.' A weaponsmith says 'Once it is solid, push the handle into the hole in the blade.' A weaponsmith says 'Finally, sharpen the blade.' A weaponsmith says 'Once you are ready for your master piece I will ask for payment for using my forge in the form of a letter of rights.' show pole weaponsmith You show a smooth wooden pole to a weaponsmith. A weaponsmith says 'Ah good, good.' A weaponsmith says 'Go ahead, and start smithing.' smelt iron Ok. You drop a bar of iron. You place the iron in a smelting cup and place it in the oven. The iron has become an orange liquid. Using a pair of tongs you take a smelting cup out of the oven. You carefully pour the liquid iron into a mould. Red hot drops hiss as they are spilt onto the ground. You leave the iron to set. The iron has set. You can now put the blade onto the handle. put blade handle Ok. You drop a smooth wooden pole. You grab the handle and slide the blade onto it. You hammer a wedge between the top end of the blade and the handle. A dull hammering sound rings in the smithy. You put the polearm in the barrel to let the wedge drive the blade onto the handle. You get an polearm from a barrel and prop it up against the wall. A weaponsmith says 'You can drop a letter of rights on that stool, and I will give you the weapon.' drop paper You drop a slim roll of paper. A strong smith says 'Excellent job, Alayla. Well done!' A weaponsmith points to the wall and says 'There it is.' get all You get a blue steel trident.
